Jeff is a 1985 graduate of Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO. After graduation, he served in Missouri for 2 1/2 years as the preaching minister of Swedeborg Christian Church and the manager of Gasconade Christian Service Camp. In January of 1988, he and his family moved to Arizona where he worked in Spanish evangelism until July of 1990, at which time he moved back to Missouri and began working with Christ's Mission Church as their preaching evangelist; a position he still serves in today. His responsibilities include preparing and delivering sermons, lessons and leading the church in evangelism.
Jeff and his wife Mary (Alt), whom he met at Bible college and married in 1982 have two grown daughters; Dasha (working and on her own), Celeste (working, college and living at home) and a son, Sawyer (Junior in high school)). The Browns make their home in Devil's Elbow, a little community on the Big Piney river just outside of Fort Leonard Wood.
Bob came to CMC in January of 2004. He had previously been in a 13 year preaching ministry at the First Christian Church of Richland, MO.
Bob is in charge of the entire educational program at CMC including the Sunday School, Mid-Week Bible Studies, Junior Worship, Teacher training, etc. In addition to these duties he also oversees the praise team and plays keyboard for them often.
Bob has been married to Teri (Moore) for 31 years and they have two children. Jason is married and the manager of Gasconade Christian Service Camp as well as a full-time employee in the Waynesville school system. Bethany was recently graduated from Ozark Christian College and is employed full-time working in Deaf Communications with a school in the Joplin area.
Bill and his family first visited Christ's Mission Church in 1998. He and his family permanently settled here in Saint Robert, Missouri after his retirement from the army in 2002.
Bill serves as an elder, Sunday school teacher and has had the opportunity to preach, here and at some of the other Christian Churches in the area.
He and Lorri have been married for 13 years and have five children.
Henry and his family came to CMC when it was still Fort Wood Christian Church back in 1990. Henry and his family settled here after a short absence in Japan and Kansas to be close to the church. Upon retirement from the Army he has been serving the church and working locally.
Henry has served as an elder, Sunday school teacher and has had the opportunity to preach, here and at some of the other congregations in the area.
Henry and Debra have been married for 29 years and have three children. Amos now married to Ashley with two children of their own, Sarah, a graduate from CCCB, and Rachael who is currently in her freshman year at OCC in Joplin. Debra had served as church secretary until her illness prevented her from continuing and now enjoys spending time with her grandchildren Hana and Aaliyah.
Tim and his family came to CMC in 1992 when it was called Ft. Wood Christian Church. Originally from the East Coast, they came here when Tim was assigned to FLW as an active duty soldier in 1984. They became members of the Crocker Christian Church after moving to Crocker in December of 1984, but came to believe that with their military background they could serve more effectively with our military- based congregation.
In addition to serving as an elder, Tim leads a mid-week Bible study and periodically teaches Bible classes on Sunday. He participates in many of the congregation’s activities.
Tim and his wife Debbie celebrate 36 years of marriage in February 2008 and have 2 grown and married daughters, Staci and Deanna and 6 grandchildren. Each one of their daughters has 2 girls and 1 boy.
Having retired from the US Army in 1989, Tim now works fulltime at Ft Leonard Wood.In his spare time he and Debbie have a small farm just north of Crocker where they raise beef cattle.
Cory and his family first visited Christ Mission Church in August 2003 when Cory’s wife, Anna, was an active duty Army nurse at the hospital at Fort Leonard Wood.Although originally from Christiansburg, VA, Cory and his family decided to remain in St Robert after his wife finished her time in the military in May 2006.
Cory and Anna were married in January of 2003 and are blessed with two children, Gracie (born 11/2005) and Carson (born 8/2007).Cory is an avid outdoorsman, whose interests are in bow hunting and bass fishing.As well as being an elder, Cory leads a mid week Bible study, periodically teaches Sunday school, and participates in many of the church’s other activities.
